C/River: Eniong is APC

The APC candidates for the Southern Senatorial District Mr Asuquo Ekpenyong, HOR Ntufam Edim Inok and HOA Francis Asuquo, made a triumphant entry into Eniong on Monday 28th, when their campaign train made its first stop in Odukpani LG.


The DG of the Campaigns, Hon Oqua Edet Oqua, who was part of the campaign train, said: “It was a glorious homecoming of an illustrious son.”


He said simply, “Eniong is APC”. 


In his remarks, Asuquo Ekpenyong said it is a clear sign that the entire Eniong People would vote for the APC at the state and national levels next year. “Eniong is an APC Ward. The party has entrenched its growth and developmental strides on the sand of time in the Eburutu Block. 


"Every Eniong son and daughter should expect bold and innovative ideas of economic empowerment and infrastructural development from next year,” Ekpenyong said.


Pastor Asikpo Okon who represented the Gubernatorial candidate, Sen Prince Bassey Edet Otu was overwhelmed by the love of the Eniong people for APC, “He stated that Eniong has a special place in the heart of Prince Otu and their support for the party will be reciprocated.”


Also, the Candidate for Odukpani/Calabar Federal Constituency, Ntufam Edim Inok said his mission was very simple which is to bring developmental strides from Abuja back to Calabar with an excess capacity yet to be witnessed in the Federal Constituency. We are going there to serve and so shall it be; says the former State Party Chairman.


House of Assembly Candidate for Odukpani, Hon Francis Asuquo charged the Eniong people to support, Tinubu, Senator Prince Bassey Otu, Asuquo Ekpenyong, Edim Inok and ensure to vote APC, the party with the broom logo from top to bottom. He promised a more robust responsive tenure when re-elected.


The Campaign team had first stopped at the Palace of the Village Head of Atan Onoyom to pay their respects and inform the royal fathers of their presence.

The royal fathers decreed that the traditional institution is fully invested in the project.


The Visit had in attendance the APC Chapter Chairman of Odukpani Edem Anam and his Calabar Municipal counterpart, Ntufam Emmanuel Mbora, Elder Chief Onoyom Ette, Ward Councillor, Hon Ben Nkebem, Mr Toni Ikpeme, Dr Janet Ekpenyong, Mr Ekanem Ekpenyong, Udiba Effiong Udiba, Eta Imona, Hon Moses Akpatre amongst many others.
