The APC Senatorial Candidate for Cross River South, Asuquo Ekpenyong has called on people of Southern Cross River to prepare their minds, soul and heart towards a representation no one has come across since the return of democracy in 1999.
He noted that this year independence day celebration is synonymous with a struggle to emancipate the people of Southern Cross River State and triggered developments via empowerment and attraction of projects to our communities.
"The long walk to independence is associated with toils, unalloyed display of patriotism, development, good representation of our political Leaders, unity in diversity despite challenges that threatened our existence. We've had our fair share of challenges as a nation, State, local Government and even our communities but we will overcome"
"As we celebrate another milestone as a nation, State, and even our Local communities, I implore you to embrace unity, togetherness, religious tolerance etc as this is the only salvation to our collective development; He said.
