Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong Appointed To The Senate Ad-hoc Committee For Road Infrastructure

On Wednesday, 19th July, 2023, Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong was Appointed to the Senate Ad-hoc Committee for Road Infrastructure. The Committee is saddled with oversight on road infrastructure. It will have as it's immediate focus, addressing urgent concern plaguing Federal Roads while equally addressing the growing threat posed by erosion across the country and the challenges they pose to the environment.
The ultimate objective of the committee will be to prompt the Executive Arm into action for proper Road planning, funding and maintenance.
The 10th Senate, led by Senator Godswill Akpabio remain poised to take proactive measures in ensuring that erosion sites and vulnerable areas receive the attention that they deserve.
