Asuquo Ekpenyong inaugurates 76 Ward Coordinators of Suki Standard Movement SSM support group

Cross River State All Progressive Congress (APC) Southern Senatorial District Candidate, Asuquo Ekpenyong has inaugurated 76 Ward Coordinators of Suki Standard Movement (SSM) across the 7 LGAs of the Senatorial District ahead of the upcoming Campaigns and Elections to mobilise votes for all APC Candidates.


The group will canvass and galvanize support including votes for all the All Progressive Congress (APC) Candidates in the General Election.


The Director General of the Support Group, Mr Udiba Effiong Udiba disclosed at the inauguration in Calabar on Friday that the initiative was a testimony of Asuquo Suki Ekpenyong (The Standard) unshakable continuous support to the great people of Southern Cross River State.


“We are confident that the contribution of Asuquo "Suki" Ekpenyong to the people will continue even after the elections.


“Moreover, we are all aware that he is a great team player and a devoted public servant who is always committed to the wellbeing of the society,” he said. 


According to him, Suki is out to salvage Cross River South from numerous challenges facing the people.


He added that the support group would engage in sensitization of the people of Southern Cross River State on Suki's Senate race and his plans to bring about tangible democratic dividends to all residents of the Senatorial District.


Asuquo Ekpenyong who inaugurated the Ward Structures of SSM noted that his candidacy is for all, "we should hold the current struggle with full confidence that our Senatorial District will return to those days when people reap the true benefits of good governance,” he said.


Earlier speaking, SSM Clerk of Assembly, Hon Moses Akpatre assured the Senatorial Candidate that the group will mobilise votes for the APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the incoming Governor of Cross River State, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, the 3 House of Reps Candidates and 12 House of Assembly Candidates in the Southern Senatorial District. According to him the group has resolved to mobilise a minimum of 200 votes from each of the polling units across the 76 political Wards of the Southern Senatorial District.
