He stated that, challenges such as funding constraints, ethical concerns, and privacy issues persist, and consequently hinder full adoption. He posited that the rise of digital transactions underscores the urgent need for cybersecurity training and legal frameworks. 


He concluded that despite the challenges, Nigeria is committed to addressing the mitigating factors to fully harness the transformative potential of technology in ensuring peace and security.


Senator Ekpenyong also shared his concerns regarding Artificial Intelligence and its potential risks to National Security.
