The Senate Committee on Customs and Tariffs held its inaugural meeting on November 14th, 2023.
Mr. Bashir Adewale Adeniyi (MFR), the Comptroller General of the Nigerian Customs Service, and his team presented the performance and activities report of the Nigerian Customs Services.
This meeting was a great opportunity to identify the challenges of the Customs Service and proffer solutions on how they could better achieve their mandates of Curbing Smuggling, facilitating trade and generating revenue for the Federation.
